With it stylish design and unique technology, the Elevate solution stood out from the pack. Customers can display a product on top of the elevate box and once the product is lifted, content is triggered to the screen within the display. Multiple video files may be launched with each lift off the sensor.

Videotel unveiled its VP70 XD industrial media player at the InfoComm Show. This industrial grade digital media player seamlessly loops files for a smooth, visual appealing viewing experience. It also features HDMI resolution, multi-function remote control, video cables, multiple transition options and a USB card. Keywest Technology Publishes Content Guide To Help Jump-Start Digital Signage Beginners

LENEXA, Kan. (October 5, 2015) – In collaboration with Keywest Technology’s creative department, Keywest released this month a how-to guide for digital signage content. The white paper, Digital Signage Jump Start Content Guide, provides more than 20 years of collective experience in digital content tips and tricks. The guide is designed to help beginners get started with their best foot forward, yet it is packed with enough content know-how to provide intermediate users helpful advice.

According to the company president, Nick Nichols, the guide is intended to provide the essential keys to ‘jump start’ or unlock digital content planning, which he said is the foundation for a content strategy.

When asked why a content strategy is important, Nichols explained, “It’s easy to treat a digital sign like a billboard, which becomes just another place to throw up information. This kind of approach does not typically win viewers. Our content guide offers a logical path to getting communication results that have a return on objectives.”

The guide doesn’t concern itself with specific graphic arts information, which is readily available in many published books, online courses, and is a standard curriculum in most schools. Instead, the guide offers key advantages, tips, and strategies to more effectively communicate using digital signs. Key topics include:

  • Why Content Is Important
  • Why Sticky Content Matters To Your Audience
  • Why Content Engagement Matters If You’re a Marketer
  • Ten Content Tactics For Managers
  • Digital Signage Content Strategies
  • Digital Signage Deployment Strategies
  • Why Digital Signage Placement Matters.

Regardless if you are a digital signage wannabe or a novice user, Keywest Technology aims to jump-start the skills of communication enthusiasts by offering expert digital signage advice free of charge. The guide is available immediately on the company’s website (www.KeywestTechnology.com) under “White Papers.”

About Keywest Technology

Ping HD is pleased to announce the release of version 2.0 of our award winning EngagePHD™ web based digital signage content management platform.

Key to version 2.0 is the addition of the new ‘Dashboard’ view which strengthens the network monitoring capability of your Digital Signage network. Videotel, Inc. Introduces Its New HD2700 D Industrial Looping DVD Player to the Market

Videotel launches the HD2700 D Industrial Looping DVD Player with Scheduler and Interactivity that push the limits of what a hd dvd player can do. Additionally allowing digital content to become interactive with LED push buttons and interactive sensors.

SAN DIEGO, CA - An industry-leading and award-winning manufacturer with 36-years of industry experience in the digital signage space, Videotel Digital announces the release of their newest seamless looping industrial dvd player. The HD2700 D is not just a digital signage solution with a six-year, 24/7 looping potential. It’s a dvd player that can interactively use Videotel's IPM, IPH and interactive module options to enhance content. Allowing the user to uniquely trigger content with LED push buttons, motion, proximity and weight sensors. Now informative marketing or educational messages can be displayed easier than ever and as dynamically as possible.

Triggering multiple content files burned on a DVD, advertising or informational text, images or video content can be scheduled for play throughout the day. How so? Simply. Specific text files can be loaded onto playlists directly on the DVD. From there they can run with an image quality of 1080p HDMI resolution with no added software required. Seamlessly repeats without the use of a remote, the dvd player thinks for itself. It buffers and stores content to an internal RAM that plays direct from memory.

Used with Videotel’s PUSH, MOVE, WAVE, and ELEVATE interactive modules the HD2700 D DVD Player makes quite an impact on its audience. The PUSH interactive module systematically enhances the display with LED push buttons while MOVE incites motion sensors. Proximity sensors are signaled by the WAVE module and ELEVATE navigates weight. Lisa Schneider, VP of Marketing and Sales at Videotel Digital underscores that all of these digital display enhancements have the same goal.

Schneider says, “The HD2700 D is perfect for those displays that require either the need to seamlessly and reliably auto loop content, time specific content throughout the day or to create an interactive display that triggers content from LED push buttons or various sensors. In this industry we know that we only get one chance to catch the consumer's’ eye. We are proud that our HD2700 D does this without failure."

Videotel Digital Celebrates its Successful 2015 Year in Review

$

Enjoying the success 2015 brought, Videotel Digital announces a dynamic year in review. Specializing in digital solutions for retail, hospitality, restaurants, healthcare and educational as well as government agencies, the company shows its dexterity. They began the year with an award given at the first DSE show they attended. They ended it with an iconic So Cal company singing the praises of their newly launched product. Somewhere in between, they humbly managed to celebrate 35 successful years in business.

Awarded at DSE 2015 by rAVe Publications as the Best New Digital Signage Solution, it was there that Videotel demonstrated Elevate. The solution was newly launched along with Push, Move and Wave; these are interactive products that allow audiences to trigger relevant content. The interactive digital signage solutions work in tandem with the VP71 Industrial Grade Media Player also launched in 2015.

The VP71XD media player was a favorite of Videotel client, Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. They purchased it for their hospital rooms to increase patient experience. It was also selected by Cedarville University to create an impressive 40'x40' display at the three-day Southern Baptist Convention in Columbus, Ohio. At the same time, Fee Hedrick Entertainment Group began using the digital media player to amp up their audiences’ experience during its largest live conferences.

The year also saw the release of the VP70 LTE and the VP70 XD. Both designed for heavy commercial use the players can auto-loop any type of media to engage audiences wherever high traffic and dense customer populations congregate. Impressive HD content thrills in cinemas, shopping centers, trade shows, or conference rooms. Such is the case for iconic footwear manufacturer Rainbow Sandals who uses it to auto-loop branding and informational content from a USB with “plug and play” functionality.

Possibly the best 2015 milestone however, was Videotel’s celebration of 35 years in business meeting the digital media needs of both large and small clients. In 2016 watch for the company’s new HD2700 series with industrial looping DVD players as well as the industrial DVD and media player combo unit.

Simple to use and cost effective, it displays media content that can be played from three different ways. For added convenience, users can display digital content via a DVD, SD or USB.

Schneider says, “The HD2700 M is perfect for those displays that require the flexibility of displaying content with a DVD, USB or SD card reliability and with a true seamless auto loop, timed content or interactive content. It just doesn't get any easier with the HD2700 M."

Timed scheduling of various content files is easily achieved with the creation of a simple text file. The file can have start and stop times and should be loaded on the same DVD, SD or USB as the video files. Using a seven day calendar, specific playback is triggered by simply inputting specific days of the week. Or, the dvd/media player can be told to run the content all day every day. And leaving no stone unturned, the scheduler can power the Videotel digital media player on and off according to a set time as well.
